Lake Blue Ridge
Lake Blue Ridge has 60 to 65 miles of shoreline, with the vast majority of it being National forest land.
Being known as the "Trout Capital of Georgia", this lake also is the only lake in the state where you can find smallmouth bass and muskie.
Being only minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge, it is easily attainable to combine a peaceful day on the water with rides on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, winery tastings, or even boutique shopping.

Lake Nottely has 106 miles of shoreline, the lake also stretching 20 miles long!
Regularly stocked by the state of Georgia, this lake is famous for fishing tournaments.
Approximately 70% of the lake's shoreline is federally protects by the U.S. forest Service.
